Kevin installed a new faucet in the kitchen yesterday. The old one was pretty nasty, black stuff was always coming out from under the base and you had to really yank on the sprayer to get it to come out.
When I chose the new one, originally I had not wanted one with the pull-down sprayer, but the one I bought ended up not fitting our sink. And upon further investigation, it didn't get very good reviews anyway.
Kevin did some research and decided that the Moen Haysfield got good reviews, so we went with it, even though it was a pull-down. It's a little bigger (taller) than we expected, but the selection of faucets that got good reviews was limited, so it's just going to take some getting used to. It doesn't have as strong water pressure as our old one, but it does a pretty good job, and it can actually reach both sides of our sink, which the old one could not. I'm getting used to the pull-down feature and I haven't sprayed myself yet, so that's a good sign.
