We closed on the house on Wednesday, it's officially all ours! The original plan was to camp out in the house that night, but after being delayed in Philly for 3 days, we weren't really feeling it. I went over yesterday to clean the few carpets we are actually keeping and saw two spiders in the basement, so I'm not real keen on the idea of just throwing a mattress on the floor anyway. We have spiders in the old house, and I've lived with them for so long that they don't bother me, but the spiders in the new house look different, so I'm a little wary.
One thing we noticed when we went over there at night for the first time is that some of the lights flicker. I'm not sure why we never noticed it before, but we called the electric company and they checked all of their stuff and said everything is okay. So, I guess we need to call an electrician in to see what's going on.
