I made 30 cookies total (minus the two that broke)... and then there were a handful of ugly ones, so they had to be eaten. Kevin is all too happy to take the ugly cookies off my hands, but he has to fight me for them.
One of these days, I'm going to post some information on how I'm teaching myself to make these cookies... what sites I go to for instruction and which cookies I experimented with to learn different techniques. I started with really simple designs and am working my way up to more complex as I get more practice.

I use glaze instead of royal icing. I find that RI dries my cookies out, it dries really hard and it doesn't taste very good. This is the recipe I use, except I use 1/2 tsp of Creme Bouquet flavoring in place of the flavoring she has listed there. Cookie Crazie's Glaze Recipe
