This fruity version, however, wins the prize for "easy, yet beautiful" and is wonderfully refreshing on a hot summer day. I prepared each of the three components the day before. Then on the day of my dinner party, I assembled each glass after dinner in a matter of minutes.
I did not use all of the sparkling water it called for, I only used about 6 ounces. Do be careful when spooning the layers in, mine kind of melded into each other (the one in the picture was the best looking one, LOL). The three layers each have a different consistency, so that helps, but you still have to be careful.
The one problem with this dish is that you feel like you have kiwi seeds in your teeth for the rest of the night. But then again, so does everyone else! :-)
P.S. I totally forgot to garnish with the kiwi slices, oh well.
